June 29, 2022 (Golden Valley, MN) – A consortium of Hennepin County Leagues of Women Voters (Brooklyn Park/Osseo/Maple Grove, Crystal/New Hope/East Plymouth/Robbinsdale, Edina, Golden Valley, Minneapolis, Minnetonka/Eden Prairie/Hopkins, St. Louis Park, and Wayzata/Plymouth) co-hosted the Hennepin County Attorney Candidate Forum for the Primary Election.
These events are free and open to the public. The forums was live streamed at https://www.stlouispark.org – and can viewed on Facebook at https://fb.watch/dY9nayicFs/ and will be made available on YouTube and other sources after the event.
After the debate, Paul Ostrow made the following statement:
“Great night in St. Louis Park- many thanks to the League of Women voters. Tonight, we were able to draw a line.
There is now a clear distinction between our campaign and the rest of the field:
I am the only candidate with the on-the-job-experience to create a plan to address violent crime that will work.
I am the only candidate running with the record of building relationships in the community, and who can build the bridges necessary to get the job done.
I am the only candidate not beholden to the politics that get in the way of our resident’s biggest concerns: building a safe Hennepin for all.”
