May 11, 2022 (Minneapolis, MN) – Minnesota and Hennepin County know the pain caused by this rising trend far too well – and the nation saw a 15 percent increase in deaths from overdoses in 2021 according to this important story in the New York Times (Read Story) today .

Our State Legislature and it’s leaders have a responsibility to support Counties by giving Attorneys the tools to prosecute the dangerous sellers of these violent drugs.

Instead, partisan politics has won the day – and movement on this issue has been stagnant.
